There was a four-alarm fire at Superior Play Systems along the 2500 block of Industry Lane in West Norriton Township on June 22nd just after 11:00 a.m. Superior Play Systems sells playsets, basketball hoops, and trampolines, but is likely better known as a popular venue for kids’ birthday parties every weekend and its open play periods.

The building on fire is surrounded by other businesses; however, due to the firefighters’ efforts, the fire didn’t spread to nearby buildings. According to the CBS3 report below, approximately 100 fire trucks from multiple counties were involved in fighting the blaze. Local fire companies in MoreThanTheCurve.com’s coverage area involved in the effort were Plymouth Fire Company No. 1, Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2, Harmonville Fire Company No.1, and Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire has not been announced.
