Plymouth Township has announced that the Plymouth Township Emergency Management Division, in coordination with the Colonial School District, will conduct a full-scale training exercise at Colonial Middle School in Plymouth Meeting on Saturday, May 2nd. The training exercise will include Plymouth Township police, fire, EMS, and township public safety partners. The exercise will be held from 7:00 a.m. until approximately noon.

From the announcement:

Residents can expect to see an increase in emergency vehicles and first responders in the area of the Township Building and the Middle School for the duration of the exercise.

During the exercise, access to the Colonial Middle School property will be restricted and the public is asked to adhere to the direction of our fire police officers, who will be assisting in maintaining a safe environment.

Please do not be concerned by the first responder presence or related noises that may be heard during the exercise. Our public safety professionals are looking forward to a morning of training, preparation, and exercising our collective capabilities to keep our community safe.
