GiGi’s Consignment Boutique Opens in Lafayette Hill

GiGi’s Consignment Boutique has completed its move from Flourtown to Lafayette Hill. It opened recently at 545 Germantown Pike in the space formally occupied by Claire Dickson Boutique.

The boutique offers brand-name, high-quality, second-hand dresses, blouses, slacks, shoes, and accessories for women and juniors. The consigned items are from high-end designers such as Anne Taylor, Banana Republic, Lily Pulitzer, Nicole Miller, and have lots of other “Bloomies” labels.

Consignors receive 40% commission on items sold in the store. Items brought in for consignment which are not accepted, or not sold after a period of 60 days, can be donated to The Women’s Center of Montgomery County — an organization devoted to empowering female victims of domestic abuse.

Tricia Haber opened the store in 2011 at its original Flourtown location. The store is named for her grandmother, a 1930s vaudeville performer who went by the stage name Giggles Regan. During her career, she performed with acts such as the Three Stooges and Ethel Merman.
