CBS3 reports that there is a hazmat fire at Coopers Creek Chemical located at 884 River Road in West Conshohocken (Upper Merion). Coopers Creek Chemical is a refiner of crude coal tar (a by-product of the Metallurgical Coke making process). First responders were dispatched at 4:10 a.m.

According to CBS3, the fire has been contained. there are no known injuries and there is not a threat to the public.
