The Historical Society of Montgomery County recently published a video that gives the history of the lime kilns in Plymouth Meeting at the border of Whitemarsh and Plymouth townships. Remnants of the kilns are most visible along Germantown Pike near the intersection with Chemical Road. You can watch the video below.
