Will your trash and recycling be impacted by Christmas and New Year’s Day in the Borough of Conshohocken, Borough of West Conshohocken, Plymouth Township, and Whitemarsh Township? We have the details below.

Borough of Conshohocken

If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday the public works department observes it on the following Monday. Thus, there will be no trash or recycling collection on December 27th and January 3rd.

The east side of the borough will have recycling collected on Wednesday, December 29th and January 5th, 2022. Trash will be collected on Thursday, December 30th and January 6th. The west side of the borough will have collections on the normal schedule.

Borough of West Conshohocken

Trash will be collected as normal on Monday and Tuesday. Recycling will be collected on Wednesday.

Plymouth Township

When a holiday falls on your recycling day during the week, recycling will be picked up on Wednesday of that week. Your trash will be picked up on your next scheduled trash day. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the holiday is observed on Monday (Christmas was on a Saturday and New Year’s Day will as well).

Whitemarsh Township

Since Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on Saturdays, there will be no change to the regular collection days for trash, recycling, and yard waste.
