How you can donate personal protective equipment and other supplies

We received this email yesterday from Wes Light, the Director of Emergency Preparedness and Security at Temple University Hospital. He is a local and is asking for help in regards to obtaining personal protective equipment and other supplies for Temple University Hospital and other hospitals to help them deal with Coronavirus.

Here is his email:

I am a Whitemarsh resident and an avid reader of More than the Curve.

I work for Temple University Hospital and would like to see if you can send a plea out to donate supplies to local hospitals.

Please consider donating any Personal Protective Equipment you may have to your local hospital. Area hospitals are running low on: N-95 respirators, surgical masks, nitrile gloves, isolation gowns and coveralls, supplies for Powered Air Purifying Respirators (filters/batteries/ hoods).

If you would like to donate to Temple University Hospital, I would gladly pick up your donation. If you would like to donate directly, you can donate at the front desk of 3401 N Broad Street, Philadelphia or ship to the same address.

If you want to contact him directly for a local pickup, call (215) 707-9257 or email him at Wesley.Light@tuhs.temple.edu.
