Important information regarding the Montco Beer Festival

Over the past few days on social media and a couple of comments we got at our booth during Funfest, we have realized there are some misconceptions about the Montco Beer Festival presented by GIANT being held on Saturday, October 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The festival benefits the Conshohocken Plymouth Whitemarsh Rotary and is organized by MoreThanTheCurve.com.

The biggest issue seemed to be about how people will get there. The festival has made a significant investment in shuttles from downtown Conshohocken and a location in Ambler. Shuttle service is free. When you buy tickets, you are asked if you plan to use a shuttle and from what location. That helps with our planning.

Only those with a designated driver parking pass (which is limited to 100) can park at the venue.

You can also take an Uber, or Lyft, or have your mom drop you off. There is a special entrance/exit just for this.

Second, someone commented on social media that we should never have moved the festival out of Conshohocken. This was a decision that was not made by the organizers but forced upon them by a decision of Conshohocken’s Borough Council to not rent A. A. Garthwaite Stadium for the festival.

The organizers wanted to continue having the event at the stadium. Lulu Shriners in Plymouth Meeting ended up being the best alternative after reviewing several possibilities.

So please support the festival by buying tickets and plan to have a great time 3.7 miles from the center of Conshohocken. All of the information about the festival and how to buy tickets can be found here.
