Independence Day and Summer Events Guide

Wondering where to celebrate Independence Day, catch an outdoor movie, live music events, swim and dine al fresco this summer? Below we detail everything we could find:

Independence Day 

Conshohocken is celebrating with fireworks (July 3), the Soap Box Derby races down Fayette Street (July 4) and Whitemarsh Township honors the country with a parade (July 4).

Outdoor Movies

LEGO Batman (July 11), Sing (July 25), and Coco (August 8) in Plymouth Township.

Whitemarsh Township is showing Pete’s Dragon (June 27), Jumaji (July 11), Beauty and the Beast (July 25), Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (August 8), and Darkest Hour (August 22).

Outdoor Events/Music

The Conshohocken Beer Garden has one more date this summer on June 29. It will open back up after Labor Day.

The Plymouth Swim Club is holding a public event for adults on June 30th with The Boatloads playing live.

Plymouth Township has a series of outdoor concerts featuring Deja Groove (June 27), Main Street (July 18), Not Quitting Your Day Job (August 1) and Flower Power (August 15).

Conshohocken has an outdoor music series with the first four dates in Sutcliffe Park and the final four in Mary Wood Park . The line-up is Where’s Pete (July 12), The Newspaper Taxis (July 19th), Dukes of Destiny (July 26th), Rhodes Less Traveled (August 2), Paul Moore Band (August 9), The Blue Plate Specials (August 16), The Mango Men (August 23) and Elvis, the Best of Elvis (August 30).
