Lafayette Hill’s Colleen Middendorf recently published The Christmas Pickle, after her daughter’s teacher asked families to share special holiday traditions.

The book, geared toward four to nine-year-olds, shares how the family looks to find the “elusive Christmas Pickle ornament” every Christmas morning and how a search for the pickle prompts the family to revisit each ornament on the tree and the memories attached to it. Through this, they find the true meaning of Christmas.

The book recently hit No. 4 on Amazon’s list of new releases for Children’s Christmas books. It is available on Amazon for $9.52 and arrives within a couple of days.
