Lafayette Hill Charity Founder Given Super Bowl Tickets by Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles recently rewarded Darren Sudman, a Lafayette Hill resident and founder of Simon’s Fund, with two tickets to the Super Bowl. Simon’s Fund raises awareness about conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death. Sudman and his wife Phyllis started the organization after their three month old son, Simon, passed away in 2006.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ Beau Allen, who has a congenital heart defect, surprised Sudman with the tickets at a community service organization in Philadelphia where Sudman was donating a heart defibrillator through Simon’s Fund.
