Last week it was announced that Fanatics.com, the sports-centric e-commerce business led by Lafayette Hill native Michael Rubin had acquired Mitchell & Ness. For this acquisition, Fanatics partnered with the likes of Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Maverick Carter, and TikTok celebrities the D’Amelio family. The group reportedly paid $250 million for the vintage sports jersey brand.
While Fanatics is based in Jacksonville, Kynetic, Rubin’s holding company for his various e-commerce businesses, is based on the riverfront in Conshohocken.
Below is an interview Rubin did with CNBC’s Squawk Box about the acquisition.
