On August 6th, Bruno’s was featured on Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service, a new show on FOX. The show’s concept is that a restaurant is in trouble, and someone within the restaurant is an informant for Ramsay on the eatery’s issues.
The restaurant is located at 9800 Germantown Pike in Lafayette Hill (Springfield Township). It has been open for more than 30 years. Note that the show refers to it a couple of times as being in Philadelphia. It is very close to the border of the Chestnut Hill section of the city.
The episode starts with Ramsay getting access to the restaurant after hours and then monitoring the next day’s service via cameras that were installed. The staff believe they are part of a different type of restaurant show and have no idea Ramsay is involved or monitoring them.
Eventually, Ramsay appears at the restaurant to confront the owner and staff. We won’t spoil it. You can watch the episode here.
