LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Philadelphia has been open for a year and to celebrate its first birthday is introducing “LEGO City: Arctic Adventure” on Thursday, March 22nd. The new LEGO play experience will allow guests to explore a LEGO Arctic world with a never-before-seen digital interactive build table, themed big build activities, and photo-ops with the LEGO polar bear.

Based on the “LEGO City: Arctic Base Camp” play set, Arctic Adventure is the first-of-its-kind at LEGOLAND Discovery Centers in North America. The digital interactive build table will bring the frozen tundra to life with sound and light theming and will encourage builders to search for arctic animals and hidden gems while creating their own magical world with LEGO. Each creation will unlock additional features including terrain changes and avalanches. Artic Adventure will be available for guests to enjoy throughout 2018 and into early 2019.

The Center will kick off the new experience by hosting an ‘Ultimate 1st Birthday Celebration’ on Thursday, March 22nd. The event will include the unveiling of a giant LEGO birthday cake, free cupcakes for the first 365 guests, a balloon drop and more.
