La Bella Moda, a bridal shop that has operated at 200 Fayette Street in Conshohocken since 1981, announced on April 7th that it will be closing at the end of May. The shop was first opened by Lena Pagano, and her granddaughter, Gabriella, took over the business in 2020. Lena Pagano purchased the property in 1995 and continues to own it.

A reason for the closing was not offered in the announcement, but was described as a difficult decision. The full announcement is below.

After 45 years of celebrating weddings, we are saddened to make the difficult decision of closing our doors at the end of May. It has been a true honor to be a part of your love stories!

To our brides waiting for the dress to come in – have no fear! We have reached out to you directly. All purchased gowns are due for arrival in the next month. We will be in touch as soon as your gown arrives.
For accessory purchases or alterations, we are partnering with Kimberly James Bridal. Their team is ready and eager to meet all of our lovely brides!
