Looks like there was another malfunction at the Covanta plant overnight. There are a lot of social media comments, and questions coming into MoreThanTheCurve.com, about the loud noise heard around 2:00 a.m.

Omg does anyone else hear how loud covanta is right now??? What is going on??

It sounded like a jet plane landing in our backyard.

My concern is not only the noise , but what were we breathing in last night while sleeping with our windows open during this obvious malfunction again.

It is too early to find out anything specific, but we will work today to gather more details.
