Manayunk/Norristown Regional Rail Line is currently suspended due to a derailment in North Philadelphia

SEPTA has announced that a derailment along the Manayunk/Norristown Regional Rail Line in North Philadelphia has led to the suspension of service of that line and others. The derailment took place just after midnight.

Below is the notice:

All Regional Rail lines are impacted by a derailment near North Philadelphia Station. Service on the Chestnut Hill East, Manayunk/Norristown, and Fox Chase Lines is currently suspended. Alternative service suggestions are available online or use the Trip Planner on SEPTA.org or in the SEPTA App. Inbound trains from West Trenton, Lansdale/Doylestown, and Warminster will terminate service at Fern Rock Transit Center. Passengers can transfer to the B1 line for continued service to Center City. Inbound trains from Airport, Wilmington/Newark, Media/Wawa, Trenton, Paoli/Thorndale, and Chestnut Hill West will terminate at Suburban Station. Outbound service will originate from Suburban Station. We expect significant delays.
