Mary H. Wood Park Now Dog Friendly

Mary H. Wood Park became a “dog friendly” park on Tuesday, May 17th when Consohocken’s Borough Council approved Resolution 2017-07. Dogs need to remain on a leash while in the park and owners need to be pick up after their dogs. While there isn’t a track to walk your dog, there is a sidealk completely surrounding the park and a trail traversing through it.

Prior to this resolution, dogs were only permitted in the Conshy Dog Park. There is currently another dog park coming to Haines & Salvati Memorial Park near the intersection of West Elm and Colwell Lane. Outside of Conshohocken’s parks, you can take your dog on the Schuylkill River Trail and the riverfront trail.
