Meet the Candidates – Where Were You?

Bob O’Neill (R) and Matt Ryan (D) – Opponents in Conshohocken’s 5th Ward.

So I invited all of the local candidates out to the Conshohocken Cafe last night for a casual evening to allow residents the opportunity to meet the hopefuls for elected office all in one place.  There were candidates from Conshy, Whitemarsh and Plymouth, plus candidates for county offices and the Colonial School Board.  There had to be at least 25 candidates representing both parties, all in one place.  How many residents attended…..like 10.

Raj Gupta (D), candidate in the 1st Ward, with resident Robin Gupta. Resident Steve Hormell does his best Richard Nixon impersonation in the back.
Chris Savage (R) running in Conshy's 1st Ward, Sheldon Simpson (R) incumbent candidate in Plymouth and Jim Saring, a Plymouth resident and Republican State Committee Member.

The Times Herald came to interview candidates and residents.
