Lafayette Hill native Michael Rubin, who operates his e-commerce businesses out of an office on Conshohocken’s riverfront, has launched the All-In Challenge to raise funds for food to those in need such as kids, the elderly, and frontline heroes. 100% of the funds will be donated to Meals on Wheels, No Hungry Kids, and America’s Food Fund, and benefit Feeding America and World Central Kitchen. The program was launched yesterday and has already raised $2,022,312 (as of 7:00 a.m.).
So what is the All-in Challenge? Rubin has challenged professional athletes, the leagues, actors, etc., to offer a once-in-a-lifetime fan experience or items to raffle or auction. For the experiences being raffled, you can enter for as little as $10.
Rubin, who owns online sports apparel retailer Fanatics, is offering a chance to win tickets, travel, and lodging to all of the country’s major sports championships. For $10, you get a chance to win a $100,000 Fanatics gift card, plus tickets to the Super Bowl, Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Game 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, Game 1 of the World Series, College Football Playoff National Championship game, Daytona 500, Masters Tournament, Men’s and Women’s U.S. Open Tennis Championship, NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four Semifinals and National Championship game, and the Olympic opening ceremony and assorted events.
Celebrities participating in the challenge are Kevin Hart, Meek Mill, Justin Bieber, Mark Cuban, Magic Johnson, Peyton Manning, A-Rod, Ben Simmons, Rob Lowe, Dwyane Wade, The Chainsmokers, Tony Hawk, Ryan Seacrest, and more.
