Montgomery County District Attorney announces homicide investigation into death of Conshohocken man

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Norristown Police Chief Michael Trail announced on November 19th the investigation into a homicide that occurred at 806 DeKalb Street in Norristown on November 18th. The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Eric King, of Conshohocken.

From the announcement:

At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, Norristown Police responded to the 200 block of Jacoby Street for a single-vehicle accident, where the vehicle had struck a utility pole. First responding officers found the driver, identified as Eric King, bleeding from a single stab wound. He was transported to Einstein Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

A joint investigation by Norristown Police and Montgomery County Detectives found that just prior to the crash, King had been involved in a verbal and physical dispute with a female at 806 DeKalb Street. This female was known to King and has been interviewed by the police. At this time, the incident remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed.
