The Conshohocken Police Department has announced that the Montgomery County SWAT Team will be conducting a training exercise in the 1100 block of Fayette Street on Wednesday, July 1st. That is the area of the former car dealership and the future home of a public safety building. The notice did not specify a time.

Police advise that those passing through the area will notice an increased police presence. As it is a planned training event, there is no threat to public safety.
