Montgomery County’s Update on Butler Pike

During the September 26th meeting of Whitemarsh’s Board of Supervisors, two officials from Montgomery County gave a presentation on the effort to fix Butler Pike. A portion of the road has been closed since August 2018 due to sinkholes. Below is the presentation:

During the public comment, Whitemarsh resident Sydelle Zove, who has been very active in the effort to protect Abolition Hall, asked whether the source of the water causing the sinkholes is going to be addressed.

FYI, there is no plan and neither the township or the county appears willing to take the lead and figure it out.
