Mutual of America Life Insurance Company has leased corner retail space at Hotel West & Main in Conshohocken

During a February 27th zoning hearing in Conshohocken, Mutual of America Life Insurance Company sought zoning relief for the corner retail space at West Elm Street and Fayette Street within Hotel West & Main. The zoning hearing board granted partial relief, approving five of the six signs sought. No timeline of when Mutual of America Life Insurance Company would occupy the space was mentioned.

The zoning hearing board also approved zoning relief sought by Keystone Development + Investment involving directional signage for the parking garage at SORA West.

During the meeting, a hearing involving cell towers on top of Marshall Lee Towers was continued when it was determined that zoning relief wasn’t needed if Comcast utilized a type of tape that reduces the visibility of the devices.

The final hearing involved an appeal of a zoning determination letter regarding whether residential uses were permitted within the SP-2 Special Zoning District when a developer submitted a land development plan in March 2022. This hearing was started but continued to a future date. You can read more about this issue here.
