On Saturday and Sunday, November 16th and 17th, just 20 minutes down the road in Oaks, the region goes to the dogs! Head to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks to see over 175 American Kennel Club recognized breeds with over 1,500 dogs on hand all weekend long for the Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s Annual National Dog Show canine extravaganza.

In addition to the competitions for best in breed, best in group and best in show judging each day, there will be freestyle flying disc exhibitions, flyball tournaments, face painting and caricatures and the chance to meet the therapy dog ambassador team. Saturday is extra special because NBC will be at the show taping its special for Thanksgiving Day, the National Dog Show presented by Purina. That is right, you could end up on TV on Thanksgiving!
