New leadership for the Conshohocken Republican Committee

On June 9th, members of the Conshohocken Republican Committee elected new party leadership. Elected were Chris Mundiath as chair and William Gates as vice-chair. Mundaith replaced two-term chainman Richard Kosich.

“My top priority is to rebuild the Republican Party in Conshohocken, which has essentially been nonexistent these past several years. We will focus on local issues and connect with the community at large,” Mundiath said.

Mundiath currently serves as Chairman of the Montgomery County Young Republicans. He is a board member of the Friends of Conshohocken Parks and in April of this year was appointed by the Montgomery County County Commissioners to the Citizen Advisory Committee of the Office of Children and Youth.

A Republican has not served on Conshohocken’s borough council since 2021.
