Recently approved by Conshohocken’s Zoning Hearing Board is a redevelopment of the property at 541 East Hector Street by Craft Custom Homes. The property is currently an older commercial structure. If you are wondering where this is, below is an overview showing its location (near the TK Club):
Below (and at the top of the article) are preliminary renderings and preliminary floor plans are available here. Although the floor plans show some three-bedroom floor plans, the builder had agreed with the request of Borough Council and the Zoning Hearing Board to not include units with more than two bedrooms. The community will have 12 townhouses. The builder has not named the community yet.
Construction should begin in the spring of 2019 once the land development process is complete. The builder is planning to keep the current building and utilize the one-floor structure as a parking garage. The homes would be built over the parking.
The builder is planning to construct the community in the fashion of European-style streets with lamp posts, plantings and a common walkway.
The rooftop deck will allow for outdoor living space for each homeowner with no maintenance. Each home will be two floors with distinguished finishes such as: granite, site finished hardwood floors, stainless appliances, coffer ceilings, judges paneling, custom-built benches and cubbies. The projected base sale price is in the low $400’s.
