The new Wawa currently being constructed at 14 East Germantown Pike in East Norriton has a pending liquor license in the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board’s database. The license is being transferred from Johnny’s Bar & Grill which was previously open in Norristown.

The location of the new Wawa is the property that was the longtime home of Ray’s Diner, which closed in 2014.

We could not find a projected date for the opening of the Wawa, however, you can see how far along they are in constructing the building in the image at the top of the article.
