On the agenda (click “agenda” on the top bar) for the November 19th meeting of Norristown’s Council is an item involving the consideration of decriminalizing marijuana. From the agenda:

Request to Advertise Ordinance No. 19-13 – Decriminalization of Marijuana Council will consider submitted information and deliberate whether or not to decriminalize marijuana in the Municipality of Norristown.

Note a vote won’t be taken to actually consider decriminalization. This will be a discussion.
