A photograph of an oil painting by Pennsylvania impressionist Walter Baum was shared with us today. The painting is of Conshohocken in 1924 from the perspective of standing across the Schuylkill River in West Conshohocken where 300 Four Falls stands today.
The painting is from the collection of commercial real estate executive Jeff Mack. Mack collects Baum’s work along with other Pennsylvania impressionist art.
The bridge in the painting opened in 1921 and stood until the mid 1980s.
