PennDOT Nixes Proposal for Parking Lot in West Conshohocken

The proposal to place a digital billboard near the intersection of Matsonford Road and Route 23/Front Street in West Conshohocken looks to be dead. The proposal to the Borough of West Conshohocken from Catalyst Experiential would have resulted in a 24 space parking lot on PennDOT property at the bottom of Cedar Avenue (which dead-ends at Matsonford).

West Conshohocken’s Borough Manager Michael English shared with MoreThanTheCurve.com yesterday the following:

The Penn Dot Right of Way (ROW)  Administrator contacted Catalyst on April 8 and stated that the parcel of land alongside Matsonford Road west of Front Street was a Limited Access Right of Way and it cannot be leased or sold.

Catalyst Experiential is putting a digital billboard out on I-76 West just before the West Conshohocken exit. That is pictured above.
