Pennsylvania American Water has Boil Water Advisory for portion of Norristown and Plymouth Township

Pennsylvania American Water issued a Boil Water Advisory on July 6th at 4:00 p.m. in a portion of Norristown and Plymouth Township. The utility noted a loss of pressure as the cause. The map at the top of the article shows the impacted area.

According to the notice, any water utilized for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for one minute. The water is fine for bathing, washing, and other common uses. An update on the advisory is promised 48 hours from the time of the notice.

According to the alert on the Pennsylvania American Water website, the issue is projected to end by July 10th at 8:00 a.m.

Landlords who received the notice are asked to notify tenants.
