The Pieri Farm CSA is back for another season. Those who join the CSA can expect 24 weeks of:
1. An abundance of artisan tomatoes and pepper collections with both traditional and exotic selections. New varieties include purple bumblebee cherry tomatoes, striped German tomatoes, and red, yellow, and orange bell peppers.
2. Unique items such as kohlrabi, spicy arugula, peppadew peppers, and Pieri Restaurants’ signature spring mix.
3. The classics, such as darkibor kale, zucchini, watermelon, and cinnamon girl pumpkins.
4 . Acorn and spaghetti squash, field trip pumpkins, Romanesco cauliflower, asparagus, melons, Chicago hardy figs, and honey are other exciting additions Pieri Farm hopes will be fruitful from the farm in 2022.
The selections will change seasonally. For example, seeing leafy greens and root vegetables in spring, tomatoes, and peppers in summer, and moving back to leafy greens and long storing squashes in the fall.
Also available to members this year will be bulk case pricing for add-on orders and a 25% discount off plant starters that will be sold at the Farm Stand at Bar Lucca. The plants are grown in the greenhouse at the farm.
