Plymouth Meeting man pleads guilty to distribution of controlled substance that resulted in a death

The Daily Item reported on August 4th that 34-year-old Steven Pierro of Plymouth Meeting has pled guilty to a felony count involving the distribution of a controlled substance that resulted in a death. The federal case is before U.S. Judge Matthew Brann in Williamsport.

On September 27, 2022, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Pierro, along with two others, were indicted on September 20, 2022, by a federal grand jury and charged with the distribution of controlled substances resulting in death.

According to United States Attorney Gerard M. Karam, the indictment charges the trio with conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine within the Middle District of Pennsylvania, resulting in an overdose death that occurred in Lewisburg, Union County.
