Plymouth Meeting resident Joe McKeehen came back from an 11-1 chip deficit to win the 2026 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship in Florida this month. McKeehen claimed the top prize over David Greufe. McKeehen took home $462,600, plus the pretty Guitar Tower Trophy. The tournament had a $5,300 buy-in and a field of 673 players. The total prize pool was $3,262,704.

“Down here in Florida, I don’t feel like I’ve ever done as well as I should have,” said McKeehen. “It feels like every time I get into the situation, I just can’t. This time around, I was very focused.”

McKeehen won the World Series of Poker Main Event in 2015 and has earned more than $22 million in career live tournament earnings.
