A local sister and brother from Plymouth Meeting are set to compete in the Food Network’s Baking Championship: Next Gen, which debuts on January 5th at 8:00 p.m.

The siblings, 14-year-old Abby and 11-year-old Cameron, are among 12 teams of siblings between the ages of 8-14 competing to win $25,000 and become the next generation of Baking Champions in Baking Championship: Next Gen.

The Food Network describes the competition as follows:

Surprises and unexpected twists are the name of the game, and once the competition begins, the youthful collaborators take on tricky challenges like Breakfast Dessert Imposters, Cream Puff Friendship Bracelets and Animated Cakes. Pastry master Duff Goldman and Southern baker Kardea Brown serve as hosts, judges and mentors throughout this jam-packed journey of baking and bonding that gives a whole new meaning to sibling rivalry.
