Plymouth Meeting’s Jacob D. Wilner Will Be Appearing in Philadelphia Theatre Company’s Mothers and Sons

Nine year old Jacob D. Wilner of Plymouth Meeting will be performing as “Bud” in the Philadelphia Theatre Company’s production of Mothers and Sons by Terrence McNally. The show runs from February 6th to March 8th. Wilner will alternate in the role with another actor, so if you want to see him specifically, check with the theater.

The company’s website describes Mothers and Sons as follows:

Twenty years after her son’s death, Katharine leaves Texas and pays an unexpected visit to the New York apartment of Cal, her late son’s partner who is now married to another man and has a young son. Still coping with loss and unexplainable anger, Katherine is challenged by Cal to confront the truths of their shared past, and a future she never imagined.

Wilner most recently appeared in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of Mary Poppins.
