The Plymouth Township Police Department has announced an investigation into the car rally and street takeover that took place on Sunday, June 15th, and is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals involved. The incident took place at the Intersection of Ridge Pike, Chemical Road, North Lane, and Colwell Lane at the Conshohocken/Plymouth Meeting border (Plymouth Township).
The four vehicles being investigated are pictured at the top of the article.

According to the department, police were called to the scene at 8:03 p.m. by numerous people reporting
street racing in the middle of the intersection. From the press release:
Surveillance in the area revealed numerous pedestrians circling the intersection, participant vehicles blocking the motoring public, fireworks being ignited in the intersection, and several vehicles spinning uncontrollably throughout the intersection: some with passengers hanging out of the vehicle. It is estimated between 50 and 100 civilian spectators witnessed this event, in addition to the vehicles that were involved.
When police arrived on the scene, all the participating vehicles and spectators fled the area and were not stopped. Detectives are reviewing surveillance images from in and around the area. They are working with local, state, and regional law enforcement partners to identify the participants in this car meet-up.
