The Plymouth Township Police Department is investigating a July 11th shooting that resulted in a bullet hitting a home on the 300 block of Julian Court in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township). The residents of the home called the police after hearing shots while they were outside using their pool.
According to police, the investigators used advanced forensic mapping and drone technology to determine that the bullet was fired in a northerly direction, toward Township Line Road. The bullet was a 22 caliber round.
While the press release refers to the shooter as an “unknown individual,” it also shares that investigators obtained a search warrant for a home on the 300 block of Township Line Road in Plymouth Meeting (Plymouth Township) and seized six firearms, including one that fires .22 caliber rounds.
This is an active investigation, and police are seeking to speak with anyone who heard anything on July 11th at approximately 4:00 p.m. or has video surveillance of the area involved.
