Plymouth Township police report 152 cases of retail theft over May and June

The Plymouth Township Police Department has released its latest Retail Theft Roundup, which covers May 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026. During this two-month period, the department investigated 152 reports of retail theft throughout the township. May was much slower than June, with just 29 cases to June’s 123 cases.

During this two-month period, the merchandise involved totaled $51,832.62. For the first six months of the year, the total is $177,174.37.

As of July 27th, there are 21 open investigations from this period and two active/pending warrants. There were 117 arrests involving 115 investigations, and in 14 cases, prosecution was declined.

The alleged heist involving the largest monetary value in merchandise was $5,658.80 from PGA SuperStore at The Metroplex in Plymouth Meeting. The unnamed suspect in this case is listed as pending.
