Plymouth Township Police Seeking Suspect in Theft from Sarku Japan in Plymouth Meting Mall Food Court

If you have ever been to the Plymouth Meeting Mall, you know that you can basically have a free lunch of chicken teriyaki if you walk by Sarku Japan enough times.

It appears a free lunch wasn’t enough for one man. Dickson Wong is suspected of jumping the counter at the restaurant and taking cash and a cash box.

The Plymouth Township Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Wong. Below is the notice:

On June 5, 2018 at 1104 hours members of the Plymouth Township Police Department responded to a report of a founded burglary at Sarku Japan in the food court of the Plymouth Meeting Mall at 500 W. Germantown Pike.

An initial investigation revealed that a male subject jumped over the counter of the business while it was closed in the early morning hours.  The male removed cash from the register and a cash box from the register area.  The male then left the mall with the stolen items.

The male subject was identified through video surveillance as Dickson Wong.  Wong is currently on Montgomery County Adult Probation and attempts to locate him on June 6, 2018 have been unsuccessful.

If you know Wong’s location, you are asked to contact Detective Andrew Moretti at (610) 279-1901 or amoretti@plymouthtownship.org.
