Royal Farms’ proposal to construct a convenience store with gas pumps at 906 Ridge Pike (corner of Ridge Pike and Alan Wood Road) in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township) went before the Plymouth Township Planning Agency on April 6th. The members of the planning agency voted unanimously to recommend to the zoning hearing board that the zoning relief sought by the applicant be granted.

The special exceptions and variances being sought are as follows:

• To allow a gasoline filling station with a convenience store
• To allow 480.46 feet of signage, where a maximum of 130 square feet is allowed
• To allow a double-faced pylon signs 25′ in height where a maximum of 20′ is allowed
• To allow 16 square foot directional sign with a business name located on it, where a maximum of 4 square feet is allowed

The application will now go before the zoning hearing board on Monday, April 18th at 7:00 p.m. at the Greater Plymouth Community Center on Jolly Road in Plymouth Meeting. You can view the agenda here.
