Plymouth Whitemarsh High School senior Jason Cherry has announced he will play basketball at Gwynedd Mercy University. The 6-foot-7 forward helped PWHS to a 15-10 record and a berth in the 2019 PIAA District One 6A Tournament.

Last season, Cherry was a force for the Colonials under the basket. He averaged 9.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
