Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s Luke Gartland has signed to play baseball for Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. The shortstop and second baseman intends to major in biology.

During his time on the diamond for Plymouth Whitemarsh, Gartland has achieved a .400 career batting average and has an over .500 on-base percentage. His career highlights include being named 2021 All-League Honorable Mention Designated Hitter and 2022 First Team All-League Second Base.

One of the highlights of his career was hitting a bases-loaded walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth in the home opener against Hatboro-Horsham High School in 2021.
