Police arrest 18-year-old Conshohocken man believed to be the person dressed as a banana at car meetups in Philadelphia

The Plymouth Township and Philadelphia police departments arrested an 18-year-old man today at his parents’ home on Midland Road in Conshohocken (Plymouth Township). According to reports on CBS3 and FOX29, Shane Thomas is believed to have been the person captured on video wearing a banana suit during a car meetup in Philadelphia on September 21st. The man dressed as a banana is shown throwing a cone at a police car that responded to the meetup. The banana suit was discovered in his home when he was arrested.

Thomas is facing several felony charges. We will have more when we obtain further details on the investigation.

During his arrest, someone off-camera asks if he wore the banana suit, and Thomas responds with an NSFW response. Watch below.
