The 7-Eleven at 601 Fayette Street in Conshohocken was the victim of a robbery overnight. In a press release from the Conshohocken Police Department, the robbery is said to have taken place on August 1st at 1:30 a.m. and involved two armed men. The duo demanded money from the employee and exited the store with the money in a bag brought by the suspects. No injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as two black males wearing facemasks, dark sunglasses, dark hooded sweatshirts, sweatpants, and sneakers. One suspect was approximately 6′ tall with a stocky build. The other was approximately 5’11” and thin.
The police are investigating this robbery, including whether it is part of a string of 7-Eleven robberies in recent days in the region. According to numerous media reports, a 7-Eleven in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia was robbed an hour before the store in Conshohocken.
