An Atlantic City police officer, Joshlee Vadell, who was shot on Saturday has a connection to Conshohocken. Vadell’s wife, Laura (Feeney), grew up in Conshohocken and is a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School.

According to the Press of Atlantic City:

Vadell was shot near the Caesars parking garage at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday when he and his partner, who has not been officially identified, were investigating a robbery. Vadell’s partner shot and killed one of the suspects, Jerome Damon, 25, of Camden. Two other suspects, Martell Chisholm, 19, of Millville and Demetrius Cross, 28, of Bridgeton, were arrested by State Police on Saturday and are being held in the Atlantic County jail.

The latest on Vadell is that he is in critical, but stable condition. A GoFundMe page has been set-up for the Vadell family.
