Portion of Flourtown Road to Close for Approximately Six Weeks Starting June 6th

Whitemarsh Township has announced that 500 feet of Flourtown Road will be closed starting Thursday, June 6th starting at 9:00 a.m. The closure is expected to take approximately six weeks. The portion of Flourtown Road involved is the southbound section at the intersection of Cricket Road and Stenton Avenue.

The work is part of improvements being made to Stenton Avenue, Flourtown Road and Cricket Road.

There are two major closures already in this area. Butler Pike is closed between Germantown Pike and Plymouth/Flourtown Roads due to sinkholes (the red x on the left of the top image). Then there is the West Valley Green Road Bridge that is out of service just down the road.
