Primary challenger to State Representative Mary Jo Daley hopes Democrats won’t endorse in race

Jason Landau Goodman (pictured left) recently announced that he is running to serve as the state representative for the 148th Legislative District. That district is comprised of a portion of the Main Line and Whitemarsh Township and has been represented by Mary Jo Daley (pictured right) since 2013.

Since Landau Goodman is running against a fellow Democrat in the primary, he hopes that the Montgomery County Democratic Committee won’t make an endorsement allowing for an open primary.

Leading up to tonight’s convention of the Montgomery County Democratic Committee, he released the below letter from Connie Williams, a former state representative and state senator from the Main Line, attorney Mark Aaronchick, and Montgomery County Jury Commissioner Joanne Olszewski. The trio endorse the idea of an open primary.
