Property owner seeks zoning relief to allow short term rental in West Conshohocken

The property owner of 206 Ford Street in West Conshohocken is seeking a special exception and/or variance to allow the property to be used for short-term rentals of less than 30 days. After complaints about noise and other nuisances at multiple properties used for short-term rentals, West Conshohocken’s council voted in 2025 to amend its zoning code to require a minimum lease of 30 days.

ZONING HEARING NOTICE PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of West Conshohocken Borough will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Borough Hall, 112 Ford Street, West Conshohocken, PA 19428, for the following application: APPLICATION #26-04 Owner/Applicant: James Donohue Subject Property: 206 Ford Street, Parcel # 24-00-00764-00-4 Borough of West Conshohocken, R-2 Residence District The Applicant requests a variance and/or special exception from Section 113-33.6 of the Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 2025-01), to permit the property to be used for short-term rentals of less than thirty (30) days.
